Private equity firm Sun European Partners is expected to buy parts of the Homeform business in a prepack administration deal later today.

Sun European is aiming to acquire Homeform’s Sharps bedrooms business from administration. Deloitte is waiting in the wings but has not yet been appointed administrator.

The rest of the retail group, comprising Moben, Dolphin and Kitchens Direct, is expected to remain in administration, putting more than 550 jobs at risk.

Retail Week revealed last month that Sun Capital had filed an intent to appoint administrators.

A source told The Sun the deal was almost completed: “We just need to dot the i’s and cross the t’s.”

An announcement is expected later today.

2,800 customers of the various Homeform brands are still waiting to know if their orders will be fulfilled.
