Bags and accessories retailer Radley will unveil a new store design next month when it opens a shop in Newcastle’s Metrocentre.

The new design, by Caulder Moore, is a move away from its current minimalist look, making use of display tables, mannequins and plinths. There is also a separate area for footwear. It aims to appeal to working mums and will be rolled out to Radley’s other 19 stores from January.

“We wanted to make our new store approachable and fun-loving,” said Radley brand communication manager Sonia Chandnani. The retailer hopes to have 22 UK stores by next spring.
