Miniso has opened its first-ever UK airport store in London

The retailer has opened a ‘Miniso-Go’ store at London Stansted Airport, marking a UK first for the brand.

The new store is around 861,100 sq ft, and officially opened on December 19, offering customers a combination of Miniso’s “fun, affordable and trendy” travel products at the airport.

Miniso said its Stansted-based store has been “thoughtfully curated to cater to all the needs of globetrotters and holidaymakers alike”.

While the store will be tailored to travel essentials, it will also offer customer favourites and bestsellers including products from its collaborations such as Harry Potter, Hello Kitty and Disney, as well as beauty products and snacks.

The lifestyle retailer said its new airport store has “cheerfulpink interiors” as well as “playful displays” to offer a vibrant place for customers to stop and shop between travels.

Miniso UK chief operating officer Saad Usman said: “We are thrilled to launch our very first UK airport store at London Stansted Airport. Airports are hubs of adventure and exploration, making Stansted the ideal location to bring our ‘Life is For Fun’ ethos to life.

The new opening marks the third Miniso-Go store in the UK following recent openings in Victoria, London and at Paddington train station.

Miniso also recently opened its debut outlet store at London Designer Outlet (LDO), Wembley Park.
