Halloween is approaching and retailers are looking for new and spooky ways to win consumer spend. Here’s a look at what they have on offer.
Fright-hungry shoppers are set to spend £310m on Halloween this year, up 5% from £295m in 2015, according to figures from Mintel.
With as many as half of UK millenials shelling out on the scare extravaganza in 2015, retailers from across various sectors are upping their game to cash in on Halloween spend this year.
Here’s a look at how retailers are appealing to shoppers for the spooky retail event this year:

Sainsbury’s has created a line of Halloween items to sell across its Tu kids clothing range, which it has promoted on its Youtube channel.
