Athleisure and activewear giant Lululemon has relocated and upsized its London flagship store to mark the brand’s largest store in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

The new 8,923 sq ft store on Regent Street, London, is double the size of Lululemon’s previous location on the iconic shopping street and will house the brand’s womenswear, menswear and accessories across yoga, running and training.

The store will feature Lululemon’s largest ‘Pant wall’ in Europe, an iconic element of the retailer’s store proposition, and the brand’s largest range of menswear in the EMEA region all within a new store design concept.

Lululemon’s flagship will also offer a water bottle personalisation station and a staircase light feature which changes depending on the time of day.

Lululemon said community has “always been at the core” of the brand and it hopes its newest opening will continue to create experiences that offer “local relevance”.

Lululemon senior vice president of EMEA Sarah Clark said: “We’re so excited to open the doors to our biggest store in EMEA.

“Regent Street is one of the most important shopping destinations in the world, and 11 years after opening our first store in London, we’re delighted to welcome our community to our newest flagship store.

“With double the space of our previous location, our guests will be able to discover our all-gender offering for yoga, running, training, casual wear, localised product and more, across two incredible floors showcasing our latest beautiful store design.

“Lululemon has seen significant International growth in recent years – we have ambitions to quadruple international sales from 2021-2026, and this London flagship store will be a must-visit destination for both our local and international guests at an exciting time in our EMEA expansion.”

To celebrate the opening, Lululemon is offering shoppers the chance to experience movement sessions, an in-house disco-house dance party at the store, a newsstand takeover, DJ sets, and performances by Lululemon brand ambassadors.
