Hundreds of arrests made since launch of retail crime unit

The Pegasus Partnership, a collaboration between retailers, the police and the Home Office, has made hundreds of arrests and led to more than 100 years’ worth of prison sentences.

In just over two years, the national intelligence unit known as Opal set up as part of the partnership have made 257 arrests for organised retail crime in the first two years of operation.
