Outdoors specialist Go Outdoors has appointed former Mothercare retail director Jeff Fagan as its retail director.
Fagan started his new role on Monday. He made a surprise exit from the maternity care specialist in June after less than a year in the post.
Fagan has also held senior roles at Argos in Ireland, India and China.
Go Outdoors has also appointed David Cox to the board as non-executive director. His experience as chief executive of Screwfix Direct and chairman of cycle etailer Wiggle is expected to help the retailer grow its online business.
His role bolsters the retailer’s digital offer following the appointment of former Halfords digital boss Jon Asbury as multichannel director in March.
Go Outdoors chairman Colin Holmes said: “I am delighted to welcome both Jeff and David to the Board of Go Outdoors and am confident that with the rest of the team at Go they will play a huge role in helping the business realise its full potential.”
