David Boynton said of Pandora: ‘the foundations are incredibly strong, and the opportunity ahead is compelling’

David Boynton has become Pandora’s managing director for northern Europe. Boynton, who left The Body Shop in 2023, was Pandora’s interim general manager for central eastern Europe for several months last year.

He posted on LinkedIn: “After a period working as an adviser and non-executive director, this felt like the right moment to return to an executive role. I’ve always been drawn to great brands with real soul, and Pandora has that in abundance — a powerful brand, exceptional talent, a strong spirit of entrepreneurship, and a values-driven culture that genuinely shows up in how the business operates.”

He added: “Pandora is also one of the world’s most sustainable global brands — not as a slogan, but as a deeply embedded commitment — and that matters enormously to me.

“I’m excited to be joining the business at the start of a new chapter… following a period of growth and transformation… the foundations are incredibly strong, and the opportunity ahead is compelling.”

Pandora specialises in the design, manufacture and sale of “hand-finished and contemporary jewellery made from high-quality materials at accessible price points”.

The retailer sells its products in around 100 countries through 7,000 points of sale, including more than 2,800 of its own concept stores.

Last year Pandora, which is headquartered in Denmark, generated sales of €4.4bn.
