Former Best Buy International chief executive Bob Willett has been appointed chairman at delivery management company MetaPack.

Former Tesco chief Terry Leahy revealed in May that he has invested in the business. He is also an advisor to the board.

Willett said: “My time at Best Buy and Accenture has taught me the power and benefit of looking at every process through the lens of the customer and maximizing this experience wherever possible.

“MetaPack plays a vital part in delivering that superior customer experience, enabled by its unique technology through to the last mile.”

MetaPack, founded in 1999, manages eCommerce and multi-channel delivery systems, working with parcel carriers to help improve delivery. It works with John Lewis, Debenhams, M&S, Asos, DGSi, Mothercare and Aurora.
