Ex-Topps Tiles boss Matt Williams has joined Tile Choice as its new CEO.
Williams, who ran Topps Tiles for over 13 years until 2020, has been appointed chief executive at the independent retailer.
Tile Choice was established in 1991 and operates 19 stores across the Midlands.
Williams is still chief executive at national chain Tile Giant, which he bought at the beginning of last year under his brand Stiled, the outdoor tile retailer he founded in 2022.
Williams stepped down from Topps Tiles in spring 2020, seeking “a new challenge”. In his 19 years there, he became property director in 2000 and was named chief operating officer in 2004, before taking on the top job three years later.
Williams successfully rebranded Topps Tiles and spearheaded investment into its commercial division, including the acquisitions of Parkside Tiles in 2017 and Strata earlier this year.
