H&M u-turn on charging customers to return online purchases in-store
H&M has said it will not charge a returns fee for shoppers who return online purchases in-store.
Peacock Group is to open two stores at White River Place in St Austell, Cornwall.
It has taken 13,700 sq ft of space in the scheme, which is under construction, and will open Peacocks and Bonmarché stores in adjacent units.
The £75m scheme is owned by White River Developments. It will comprise of 155,000 sq ft of new space over 20 units, with retailers including New Look and Wilkinson already signed up, and is due to open in October.
White River Developments director Sean Finlay said: “This is great news for White River Place as it serves as an indication of retailers’ confidence in the scheme.”
