Harnessing the public’s appetite for local healthcare services could give the high street a much-needed £13bn boost, says Boots managing director Anthony Hemmerdinger

Walk down the average high street, and you see a familiar picture. An empty shop or boarded-up vacant unit where a restaurant, bank, or department store used to be. A tired town centre, which for decades was the beating heart of the local community.
