One New Change, which is 94% let, is due to open on October 28 and retailers including Topshop, H&M and Banana Republic will make their City debuts there.

M&S will also open alongside All Saints and Kurt Geiger. The scheme comprises 220,000 sq ft of retail space, including 60 stores spread over three floors.

Robert Noel, London Portfolio managing director at developer Land Securities, said: “The mall will bring high street brands, independent shops and unique concept restaurants to the City. By opening seven days a week we are changing people’s perceptions of the City.”

Property agents CB Richard Ellis and Knight Frank act for the landlord.
