Delivery service provider Deliveroo has partnered with over 30 leading UK restaurants to offer family friendly, shareable dishes for under £25 outside of peak hours.
Family Dinneroo will offer a conventionally cheaper and convenient alternative to weeknight dinners, with families able to order meals up to five days in advance from 4:30-6:30PM Monday to Thursday.
Participating restaurants include Bill’s, Pizza Express, Wagamama and Dishoom, helping parents pre-plan weekly meal schedules.
Family Dinneroo also helps restaurants to utilise existing kitchen space and workforces to meet customer demand during traditionally quieter hours.
Deliveroo chief business officer Carlo Mocci said: “We know many parents are time-poor, and plating up balanced meals for varying tastebuds can be a source of stress.”
“Family Dinneroo offers a way for restaurants to unlock new meal occasions and new customer demand during off peak hours.”
The in-app feature will be gradually phased out to 30 towns and cities across England, Scotland and Wales over the coming months, with Dublin launching at the end of September.
