Fast-fashion retailer New Look is trialling multi-branded menswear concessions for the first time in 10 of its shops nationwide.
The retailer has partnered with multi-brand young-fashion business Hallett Retail to create the concessions. Brands already signed include young-fashion retailer Religionâs Unsigned and Second Edition labels, and Damage, the diffusion range owned by Criminal Damage.
A New Look spokesman said the retailer is âalways looking to expand and enhance our offerâ. He added: âThese concessions offer us an exciting opportunity in menswear as we continue to expand our business.â
The concessions have opened in New Lookâs stores in Londonâs Oxford Street, Westfield London, Coventry, Glasgow, Nottingham, Belfast, Aberdeen, Dundee, Liverpool and Birmingham. It will roll out to a further five shops this autumn.
New Look already sells own-label menswear, which it launched in 2003. It also has branded womenswear concessions. This autumn New Look will also unveil its higher-priced, rock-inspired Idol collection, which will feature sequined blazers, dresses and distressed denim jeans.
The size of concessions varies by store but most have up to three fixtures carrying branded merchandise.
