The retailer has exchanged contracts with rival Somerfield to sell the four shops, which are trading under the Morrisons fascia.
The deal is worth£15,220,206 and is subject to OFT approval as well as landlord consent at two locations. The stores are located at Comely Bank, Burnside, East Craigs - which are all in Scotland - and Kings Heath, Birmingham.
All stores will continue to trade as usual until further notice. The grocer said: 'all staff will transfer to Somerfield on completion on their current terms and conditions of employment. Usdaw has been informed of these developments.'
