Marks & Spencer has warned its customers that they face delays on the delivery of their online shopping after the retailer experienced high demand for its products following its one-day Sale promotion last week.
A message on M&S’ website under the title ‘Home Delivery Order Delays’ read: “We’re really sorry! Due to exceptionally high demand, orders placed using our home delivery service may take longer than usual to arrive.”
An M&S spokeswoman said: “Following last week’s One Day Spectacular we’ve seen high demand through M&S.com. As a result, we’re being up front with our customers and advising them that there may be a short delay to their delivery.”
It is not known when the issue is expected to be resolved.
