New online retail entrant Joybuy has launched a marketing campaign to highlight its appeal to prospective customers.

Joybuy, which launched last month in the UK and European markets including France and Germany, has unveiled a pan-European TV, digital and out-of-home campaign focused on its speedy delivery promise and brand-led product assortment.

Joybuy said that since launch, it has “quickly topped the Apple App Store and Google Play Store shopping charts by app downloads across the UK, Germany, the Netherlands, France, Belgium and Luxembourg”.

The Joybuy app drew a “1,500% increase in downloads on launch day”.

A Joybuy spokesperson said: “Our first-ever TV advert is a celebration of what makes Joybuy unique: trusted brands, really fast, ‘Double 11’ delivery, and a joyful shopping experience.

“We want to tell our story to consumers across the UK and Europe, sharing our unique same-day delivery offer and the great value we offer to our customers. We’d like to thank everyone who has supported us with this campaign as we shake up the online shopping industry across Europe.”

Joybuy is owned by Chinese giant JD.com and sells categories including technology and appliances, beauty, home and grocery. It offers a “Double 11” delivery promise to customers that items ordered by 11am will be delivered before 11pm on the same day.
