Burberry chief executive Joshua Schulman and chief financial officer Kate Ferry answered press questions after delivering increasing sales in the first quarter of the financial year.

For the quarter to June 27, the luxury retailer reported 5% growth in comparable retail sales, led by the Americas and Greater China – up 12% and 9% respectively. By comparison, sales in Europe, the Middle East and Africa slid 3% as the ongoing conflict took its toll.
