Hugo Boss ends share buyback as Frasers targets majority control

Hugo Boss has terminated its €200m share buyback programme after Frasers Group reaffirmed its ambition to increase its holding in the company beyond 50%.

The German fashion company’s board said the decision to end the programme early was directly linked to Frasers’ intention to cross the 50% threshold and review its support for supervisory board chair Stephan Sturm.
