Four new retailers are set to open stores in Liverpool One comprising 20,577 sq ft of retail space.

Boux Avenue and Card Factory are set to open stores in the centre and will be joined by Internacionale which is opening a large 10,118 sq ft store.

Liverpool One is set to host the first Harvey Nichols Beauty Bazaar this autumn.

Office is increasing the size of its existing store to a 4,580 sq ft shop after recording a strong performance at the centre, which is let by landlord Grosvenor.

A spokeswoman for Office said: “Ever since we opened, we have traded beyond high expectations at Liverpool One.

“Consequently, we worked closely with Grosvenor to secure the earliest opportunity to open our second largest store in the country. This move increases our sales area by 50% and creates a regional flagship for the Office brand.”

Grosvenor Liverpool Fund head of asset management Miles Dunnett said: “This has been a great year for Liverpool One, which goes from strength-to-strength.

“We have just welcomed our one millionth visitor, footfall and sales are up by 1.4% and 2.3% respectively versus 2011, and we are now 100% let.”

According to Grosvenor, the growth is due to the increasing catchment and number of affluent shoppers that regularly shop there.

Proeprty agents Cushman and Wakefield and Tushingham Moore acted for Liverpool Oone.  Kitchen La Frenais Morgan represented Internacionale; CBRE for Office; Briant Champion Long for Boux Avenue and Fawlett Mead for Card Factory.
