The new rules, which allow individuals to request a copy of any of their personal data held by a business, mean SARs can come from anyone – from customers to former employees, and retailers must be on top of them or risk expensive fines, and they’re flowing in faster than ever because of AI, says Aiimi chief customer officer Mark Drayton.
