Consumer electronics specialist Impact Retail has filed for bankruptcy. A note on its website states that an administrator will be appointed by a court, with the aim of examining possibilities for the future of the retailer.

All 118 of the retailer’s stores have been “provisionally closed” while ecommerce activities have been suspended.
