B&Q has expanded its trial on-demand range with Deliveroo to over 9,000 products, following the addition of five new, larger stores.
The retailer has announced an expansion of its trial with Deliveroo, giving customers access to an expanded range of over 9,500 products for delivery in as little as 25 minutes.
Customers will now be able to order from newly added stores in Beckton, Sidcup, Watford, Acton and Romford, following the launch of its B&Q Locals in August 2024.
As a result of the expanded trial, the new range will include a larger selection of paint brands, gardening, storage and home furnishing products.
B&Q supply and logistics director Amelie Gallichan-Todd said: “We’re constantly looking at ways we can enhance the experience of our customers, and by extending our service with Deliveroo to five of our larger stores, we’re increasing the range of products available, to help meet the increasing consumer demand for speed and convenience as well as options for delivery.
Deliveroo vice president of new verticals Suzy McClintock said: “We are delighted to expand our partnership with B&Q, adding five larger stores allowing us to deliver thousands of DIY products to even more customers’ doors across London. Our customers value the convenience of ordering everything from masking tape and dust sheets to spanners and paint for on-demand delivery, enabling them to continue their projects without delay.”
