Jo Malone is to launch its first out-of-town standalone store when it opens at Bluewater shopping centre next month.
The 1,807 sq ft store will be situated next to John Lewis and Kurt Geiger. The retailer has stores in locations such as Covent Garden, Richmond and Brighton.
Guy Thomas, head of retail leasing at Bluewater owner Lend Lease, said: “Jo Malone’s heritage, brand aesthetic, and the experience they provide for customers all complement Bluewater, and will be a significant draw for consumers throughout the region.”
The launch comes as Bluewater said that sales at the shopping centre jumped 8% in May compared with the same month last year.
During the month sportswear sales soared 23% while clothing grew 12%.
