Drawing up a Christmas wish list can be tricky as you agonise over whether that dream dress or tablet may be a bit pricey for Santa.
But we fear Retail Week senior reporter Alex Lawson may have become a little optimistic when he spotted this pair of gold-plated, diamond-encrusted iPhones at last week’s Dixons Christmas event at Harrods.
Thankfully the phones, collectively worth £100,000, were returned safely to their glass case by the nervous security guard (right) and are likely to remain a glint in our reporter’s eye.
