What industry experts are calling on Labour to do to safeguard UK food security
A new report from think tank Policy Exchange has unveiled the scale of the problem facing UK food security and laid out measures the Labour government can take to help.
The new report, called Strengthening the UKâs Food Security: Innovation and investment in the Food Manufacturing Sector and backed by a cross-party group of MPs and peers, as well as industry leaders across farming, manufacturing and retail, has called on the new government to âurgently place food security at the heart of industrial strategy and plans for growthâ.
