Watch: Morrisons Christmas ad celebrates with power ballads and singing oven gloves
Supermarket chain Morrisons has gone without Father Christmas this year, with a seasonal advert focused on singing oven gloves and 1980s power ballads instead.
The 60-second advert is set to a rendition of US rock band Starship’s classic power ballad Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now.
Featuring singing oven gloves and mittens, the ad shows support for the nation’s festive hosts and aims to give consumers “more reasons to shop at Morrisons”.
