Pret a Manger is expanding its popular coffee subscription to include discounts on all food, drinks and snacks

From April 26, new ‘Club Pret’ subscribers will be able to get 10% off all food, drinks and snacks sold in stores for £30 a month, with the fee half price in the first month.

Subscribers will still be able to get up to five barista-prepared drinks a day, with additional drinks receiving a 10% discount – including the full range of coffees, teas, hot chocolates and new iced drinks.

Existing coffee subscribers will automatically become part of the new ‘Club Pret’ offer, which will be live from the majority of Pret’s 439 UK stores.

The high street food-to-go specialist launched its coffee subscription in September 2020. It is now used 1.25 million times per year and has been rolled out to customers in the US and France.

Pret a Manger chief executive Pano Christou said: “Over the past year, we’ve thought long and hard about the best way to support the people who matter most to Pret – our team members who do such an outstanding job, day in and day out, as well as our customers.

“That’s why we’ve increased pay three times in the past 12 months, and reinvested in benefits to support our people through the cost-of-living crisis.

“It’s now time that we give back to our most loyal customers, expanding the subscription and making our freshly made food, snacks and organic coffee more accessible to the people who have been crucial to Pret’s success. That’s what Club Pret is all about.”
