Morrisons losses deepen to nearly £1bn

Supermarket Morrisons has racked up nearly £1bn in losses in the last financial year, as the debt-laden chain struggles to turn around its performance.

The grocer swung to a £926m loss before tax last year, according to accounts filed with Companies House. It blamed the deepening losses on a 2024 cyber attack, as well as write-downs from its chain of convenience stores.
