Marks & Spencer has expanded its assortment of bigger pack, value essentials.
The retailer has also launched its first range of own-label medicines.
Marks & Spencer has increased its Bigger Pack, Better Value range by a third, so that it now comprises approximately 100 lines. The extension, including items such as 12 Free Range British Eggs for ÂŁ3.20 and larger size double cream for ÂŁ2.65, will help M&S in its objective of becoming âa true shopping list retailerâ for families.
M&S Food managing director Alex Freudmann said: âWhen we talk about being a shopping list retailer, it means that customers can trust us to have what they need when they come shopping, in the right size and at the right price.
âWeâve been working hard to close our range gaps and make sure the price and quality of our key family lines delivers against customers expectations. All this has been increasing our credibility with families and weâre seeing strong growth with these shoppers.
âAs we always say, thereâs still lots of opportunity to go further and really cement M&S as the destination for families to get everything they need, at the quality you can only get from M&S.â
This week M&S also launched 40 new and upgraded lines including own-label medicines for the first time. The retailerâs medicine cabinet offer includes products such as paracetamol and ibuprofen.
