Majestic Wine poaches new finance director from Oasis
Majestic Wine has poached its new chief financial officer from fashion retailer Oasis, as it looks to establish itself as an independent business under the ownership of a private equity firm.
The bricks-and-mortar wine specialist have today appointed Alex Jablonowski to the newly created position of chief financial officer, the latest in a string of new hires at the newly independent business.
Jablonowski joins Majestic Wine from Oasis & Warehouse Group and also previously worked at Hamleys, Tesco and Costa Coffee.
His arrival is the latest senior appointment at Majestic, which also recently appointed Robert Cooke as its new chief commercial officer and Suzanne Kielty as HR director.
