Greggs joins forces with Sainsbury's for first petrol forecourt store

Food-to-go giant Greggs has teamed up with grocer Sainsbury’s for the first time to open a new store on a petrol forecourt.

The concession will be the first of its kind in a Sainsbury’s petrol station, with the new Greggs store opening at the grocer’s Biggleswade petrol station in Bedfordshire.

The shop, open from 6am to 9pm every day, will see the two retail giants share space on the forecourt, enabling customers stopping to refuel to buy from Greggs’ full range as well as from Sainsbury’s convenience offering.
