Ocado Retail continues to grow at home, but does last week’s announcement from Sobeys spell the end of the pureplay retailer turned tech provider’s international ambitions?

Ocado shares plummeted after the retailer suffered another setback in its quest for global grocery ecommerce fulfilment domination. Canadian giant Sobeys announced it would be closing its Calgary customer fulfilment centre (CFC) in Alberta.
