Co-op has rolled out its membership prices to Just Eat customers as the convenience store chain continues to grow its quick commerce channel.

The retailer said its exclusive prices would apply to almost 150 everyday essentials, providing members an average saving of 37% on their groceries.
Customers will be able to access the discounts by inputting their membership number into the app at checkout.
The grocer said it had grown its ecommerce business “at pace” with over 1,000 of its UK stores now acting as local fulfilment hubs for on demand orders placed through Just Eat.
Co-op commerce trading director Gary Kisby said: “We continually work to create new ways to deliver quality and value to our members and customers – it is a cornerstone of our online convenience approach.
“As a cooperative, our membership makes us different. We are committed to offering great value, deals and promotions for everyone to enjoy, while providing additional savings to those who own our business, our members.
“We are delighted to introduce member price savings with Just Eat, ensuring added value across an extensive range and choice of everyday essentials which are available quickly and conveniently online from local Co-op stores.”
Just Eat grocery and retail director Caroline Bates said: “More and more people are turning to Just Eat for their everyday grocery needs, whether it’s a quick midweek top-up or that last missing ingredient for a special meal.
“We want grocery shopping on Just Eat to feel easy, rewarding and offer great value. Customers have told us that access to member pricing really matters, so we’re delighted to be delivering this with Co-op, helping people save on everyday essentials.
“Alongside this, we’re continuing to offer popular deals like Half-Price Wednesdays and recent savings of up to 60% on fresh fruit and vegetables, to make sure our customers are getting the best value possible”.
