Aldi has announced plans to upgrade 25 of its UK stores this summer, as part of its wider £300m investment into its store estate.

The discounter said changes made to the stores will “vary by location” but will include “creating more space to shop alongside the introduction of more sustainable features, such as energy-efficient fridge doors and natural refrigerants to help reduce carbon emissions”.
