Retail consultancy Practicology has hired Sweaty Betty’s former digital director as it targets clients in Europe and North America.

Nicola Huet, who has been appointed as head of internationalisation, will head up the Practicology’s overseas ecommerce, supporting its clients in the UK and North America with multichannel retailing strategies, the consultancy said.

Prior to joining Sweaty Betty in 2006, Huet held a project management role at Selfridges.

Practicology has also appointed Mark Pinkerton as director of optimisation and interim resourcing.

Pinkerton, who joins from PwC Consulting, will lead ecommerce and multichannel performance improvement projects.

“Pinkerton has delivered projects for many well-known high street names including Debenhams, Mothercare, Jack Wills, Carphone Warehouse and Ted Baker,” Practicology said.

Practicology chief executive Martin Newman said: “I am delighted to confirm these two senior appointments, which are hugely important for the continued development of the business.”
