Asos

The online fashion retailer unveils preliminary results on Tuesday, a month after its founder Nick Robertson stepped down as chief executive. New boss Nick Beighton has taken the reins at a time when the business is confident on full-year profits after group retail sales rose 20% during its third quarter.

Home Retail

The Argos and Homebase owner reports half-year results on Wednesday. At last year’s interims Home Retail boss John Walden delivered the news that Homebase would be closing a quarter of its stores and observers will be looking for signs of progress here. The City will also want to see what impact Argos’ first-half sales decline has had on profits.

Mothercare

The maternity specialist reports second-quarter figures on Thursday. Trading momentum slowed in its first quarter when UK like-for-like increased to 1.3% after a 5.1% increase the previous quarter. The retailer is in the midst of a turnaround plan under boss Mark Newton-Jones.
