Retail Week looks ahead to the next seven days, with updates from Tesco, Boohoo, Ted Baker, Majestic, N Brown and Mulberry on the agenda.

Boohoo

The fast-fashion etailer is set to report its first-quarter trading update on Tuesday, June 12. Boohoo unveiled stellar full-year results in April, driven by an “exceptional performance” at Pretty Little Thing. Group pre-tax profits jumped 40% while sales rocketed 97%.

Ted Baker

The fashion retailer will post its first-quarter results on Tuesday. Ted Baker should report another market-beating quarter after healthy rises in its full-year profits and sales.

Mulberry

The luxury group will report its final results on Wednesday, June 13. Mulberry’s UK sales edged up 1% in its first half after an increase in tourist spend in London balanced out slowing domestic demand. On a like-for-like basis, UK sales slipped 1%.

Majestic

The wine retailer will post its final results on Thursday, June 14. Majestic said at its Christmas trading update that it was on track to meet full-year expectations and notched up group sales growth of 3.2% in the quarter.

N Brown

The specialist fashion etailer will report its first-quarter results on Thursday. N Brown reported rising sales during its last year with its power brands performing well.

Tesco

The grocer will post its first-quarter trading update on Friday, June 15, the same day as its AGM. Tesco’s shareholders have been urged to vote against boss Dave Lewis’s “excessive” pay and bonus package at the meeting – his total remuneration was £4.87m.
