Urban Outfitters is to open a second store in Ireland next week as it continues its expansion across Europe.

The American fashion retailer will unveil a new two-storey 5,000sq ft branch at 101 St Patrick’s Street in Cork on September 18.
The Shop will stock Urban Outfitters’ Masterbrand, BDG, Iets Frans, Kimchi Blue, Loom and Ayker collections.
The new Cork location will join the brand’s existing Dublin store and will be its 72nd European store.
It is one of four European openings expected before the end of the year, with the retailer poised to launch in Manchester’s Trafford Centre, Munster in Germany and Valencia in Spain.
Urban Outfitters EU president Emma Wisden said: “We have delivered strong growth across Europe over the past couple of years, and we are excited to be in a position to keep expanding despite current economic challenges.
“We have always prioritised creating an exceptional in-store experience alongside our standout proprietary brands, curated vintage products, global brands and unique home and lifestyle products. We are excited to be able to bring this to new customers in new regions like Cork.”
