Kenny Wilson said Represent’s ‘momentum is undeniable’

Former Dr Martens CEO Kenny Wilson has joined Represent to “drive global growth” as it continues to accelerate its expansion strategy.

Represent said Wilson brings “heavyweight experience” to the business.

Wilson was most recently chief executive at Dr Martens until March this year and previously held senior roles at Levi’s, Cath Kidston and Claire’s.

Wilson said: “I am delighted to be joining Paul [Spencer, CEO] and the team at Represent. The brand’s momentum is undeniable and I look forward to helping shape the next chapter.”

Represent chief executive Paul Spencer added: “Kenny’s global expertise, values and strategic mindset make him a perfect fit for our mission to build the best brand in the world.”

The news comes amid Represent’s ongoing bid for global growth following recent store openings in Manchester and Los Angeles, as well as its upcoming flagship opening on London’s Wardour Street.

Represent also unveiled its debut womenswear collection in January.
