Premium retailer Reiss is to launch a new range to mark its anniversary this year and is continuing to expand overseas.

The retailer, which has 59 standalone UK stores and 26 concessions, announced last year that it was expandingits international presence by moving into markets such as Russia and Germany. Reiss is now opening a further store in Russia as well as expanding into the US market adding to the nine stores it already has in the country.

Reiss is set to launch a shop-in-shop in US department store Bloomingdales in New York in July.

A 3,000 square foot store will also open later this month in St Petersburg, Russia following on from its first Russian store opening in Moscow in December last year. Reiss also opened a 1,000 square foot site in Copenhagen in December.

The retailer added that it is “scoping out” flagship stores in other key European cities for autumn 11.

For its 40th anniversary the retailer is to launch an Anniversary Editions collection which will go into stores in September. The range will focus on luxurious fabrics and detailing, however no further details on the range or number of pieces are yet available.

The retailer’s results are currently being audited, but Reiss’ UK is expected to report a 43% increase in EBITDA to £13.1m for the year ended January 31.
