Value fashion giant Primark has announced the launch of its first-ever Pinterest-inspired homeware collection.
Primark has teamed up with Pinterest to launch a new spring homeware collection which will be available to shop on Pinterest using the click-and-collect function at Primark, as well as in the fashion retailer’s stores.
The new collection, which is inspired by Pinterest’s most recent search data, has been formulated by the most anticipated trends of the new season including cosy cottage, minamaluxe and dainty décor.
This comes as research conducted by Pinterest and Primark last month showed that lack of money and lack of inspiration were the two biggest barriers for people deciding whether to redecorate.
Primark said it is partnering with Pinterest to “make it easier than ever” to design and transform a space on a budget, with the collection hoping to offer “endless choice” to customers.
Primark head of design Sinead McDonagh said: “Pinterest is where so many of us go for home inspiration, but sometimes turning those saved Pins into reality isn’t always easy, especially on a budget.
“That’s why at Primark Home, we’re committed to making trend-led interiors affordable and effortless. Whether you prefer a minimalist vibe or playful patterns, here’s how to bring the latest trends into your space without breaking the bank.”
Pinterest UK head of retail Heather Clark added: “Inspiration has a new home. Spoiler, it can be yours. We’re so excited to have inspired Primark’s new range with the trends on our platform – cosy cottage, minamaluxe, and dainty decor.
“We’ve seen searches rise for pastel palettes, an understated luxury aesthetic and darling furnishings and with new ways to shop Primark’s trend-certified home range, it’s now even easier to bring this inspiration to life. We can’t wait to see these trends in your home this spring.”
Primark will also be offering free Pinterest Collage masterclasses throughout March for shoppers including at its Oxford Street East in London, Belfast, Liverpool and Glasgow-based stores.
Customers can also expect to see more than 70 of Primark’s shop windows, including in cities such as London, Manchester, Newscastle and Edinburgh, showcasing the tie-up this month.
