Plus-size womenswear brand Evans has returned to the high street in selected Yours Clothing stores.

Customers can browse a curated collection of dresses, tops, trousers, and occasionwear in 50 Yours stores across the UK and Ireland.
Stores include Bromley, Bluewater in Kent, Dublin, Glasgow Braehead, Hull, Ipswich, Lakeside in Essex, Liverpool, Leeds, and Meadowhall.
A spokesperson for Yours Clothing said: “Evans has always had an incredibly loyal following, and rightly so.
“Bringing that product into Yours Clothing stores means those customers have somewhere to go again. This is what the plus-size high street should look like.”
Evans was acquired by Yours Clothing owner AK Retail for £8m in August 2023. The retail group snapped up the brand name and intellectual property from Australia-based firm City Chic Collective.
The fashion brand at its peak had 100 physical locations nationwide but disappeared from the high street following Sir Philip Green’s collapsed Arcadia Group in 2020.
City Chic Collective paid £23m for the brand’s ecommerce and wholesale business at the time.
AK Retail founder and chief executive Andrew Killingsworth said: “I am thrilled at the acquisition of Evans. This is not an insignificant business – it is very well known worldwide. I will be looking at how to revitalise this brand and make it what it should be.”
