Is Primark ready to stand on its own two feet?
The boss of Primark’s parent company, George Weston, said it was a “big day” for the group as he announced that the fashion giant would split from the wider business.
Associated British Foods has been considering the separation of Primark from its food business for several months now, and the decoupling is expected to be completed at the end of the calendar year.
