Arcadia has engaged former Mothercare director of retail operations James Graham to head up its Outfit business.

Graham will become managing director of the multi-fascia retailer, which sells products from across Arcadia’s Topman, Topshop, Miss Selfridge, Burton and Dorothy Perkins brands, on August 14, according to Drapers.

Graham joined Mothercare from Specsavers in March 2015 and previously spent more than 20 years in the grocery sector, holding various roles during nine years at Asda and 12 years with Tesco.

New appointments

His appointment comes as Sir Philip Green’s Arcadia group seeks to reshape its senior team following a number of departures.

Evans boss Fiona Ross, Burton managing director Wesley Taylor and Topshop managing director Mary Homer have all left in recent months.

Arcadia has drafted in Burberry chief merchandising officer Paul Price to succeed Homer in the Topshop hot seat and named Baroness Karren Brady as chairman of Arcadia’s parent company Taveta Investments.
