Online fashion retailer Asos’s US site went live today.

The site,, has the same design layout as its UK counterpart, and at present customers are being offered free shipping on all orders.  

Asos, which already delivers to 167 markets, has said previously that it sees “enormous” potential in international markets, particularly the US.

Asos’s international business - which accounts for 28% of the etailer’s sales - increased turnover by 95% to £63m in the year to March 31, when UK sales grew 20% to £160m.

French and German Asos websites will follow later in the year.
