Tesco fattens up Healthy Living with 100 lines

Tesco has extended its Healthy Living range by 25 per cent and increased the number of convenience foods in the range.

The grocer launched Healthy Living nine years ago, and the latest addition of 100 items brings the sub-brand to 500 lines in total.

A Tesco spokesman said: 'Healthy Living has proved a massive hit with customers and there was an opportunity to grow it further. In the New Year many customers are dieting after Christmas, and we want to encourage more customers to try our new products.'

Separately, Tesco is recruiting 400 departmental managers for stores across London and the south of England.

The grocer is to extend existing shops and open new outlets in the region.
