Retailers face £175m business rates bill as inflation rises 2.6%

The Retail Price Index (RPI) measure of inflation has fallen to 2.6% in September, down from 2.9% in August posing the threat of a £175m rates bill for retailers next year

Retailers face a £175m business rates bill next year as the Retail Prices Index (RPI) measure of inflation rose 2.6% in September.
