Suckle to leave after 14 years
QVC UK chief executive Mark Suckle will retire from him position after 14 years with the home shopping channel.

Suckle has been with the company since it entered the UK in 1994, as the first TV shopping channel here.

Steve Hofmann will join in September, officially stepping up to the role of chief executive in January. He joins from Japanese Shop Channel, which last year generated sales of US$870 million (£423.6 million).

QVC International president David Frey said: 'While I regret the loss of a seasoned and respected executive such as Mark, we are delighted Steve is joining us, having led such a successful TV shopping channel.'
